Performance Analysis of MIMO Spatial Modulation Techniques
In this paper the performance of spatial modulation with multiple input and multiple output antenna system was analysed. Here the number of transmit antenna and receive antenna were considered as NT and NR. The channel was assumed as quasi static frequency flat channel, and the fading is additive white Gaussian. From the available NT antennas only one antenna was chosen from constellation mapping at instant. The receivers considered was Maximum likelihood receiver and linear receiver. The ML detector was used for lesser number of transmit and receive antennas and it gives the symbol error rate of the system. The linear detector was used to perform the analysis of large number of transmit and receive antennas. Even though linear detector was used for more number of antennas the computational complexity increases with increased number of antennas. The performance of spatial modulation with MIMO was simulated for various combinations of transmit and receive antennas.
