Fault Detection and Classification Using DWT with GA-ANFIS on UHV Line

This paper presents discrete wavelet and GA-ANFIS approach for fault detection and DWT with modular ANN for fault classification on Transmission line using one end data. Fault conditions are simulated using Matlab/simulink to obtain current signals. The fault detection and classification are carried out by using the detail coefficients of the phase current used as input to GAANFIS for fault detection and input to modular ANN to fault classification. The proposed algorithm is tested for different locations, different inception angles and different types of faults.
